My grandma cut out news clippings for 20 years, and her folder beat my 5 fact check tabs every time
She kept a shoebox of articles from the Toledo Blade and wrote the date next to each one, so when a big story came back around she could just flip to the old version. Anybody else got an old school method that still works better than what we do now?
My mom did the same thing with the Cleveland Plain Dealer, except she stapled the pages into a binder by year. If you want to take your grandma's system up a notch, add a one line note at the top of each clip about why she saved it, because 10 years later the date alone won't tell you what caught her eye.
