That fake 'expert' quoted in a viral health article was my neighbor, total shock
Last Tuesday my neighbor Gary across the fence casually mentions he got quoted in some online article about keto and heart health. I read it later that night, and the piece calls him 'Dr. Harrison, a leading nutrition researcher.' Gary installs drywall, I've seen his ladder. His quote was basically a guess he made up while we were talking about lawn care. The article cited zero actual studies, just his 'clinical observations.' Has anyone else spotted a random person they know propped up as an authority in a trending post?
