Picked between a full rebuild or just a re-ring on my 350, and the compression numbers tell the story
Honestly I was staring at $1,400 for a machine shop rebuild versus $280 for rings and gaskets, and I went cheap. Ngl, six months and 4,000 miles later my compression is down to 110 psi across the board, so I want a real deep dive on when a re-ring actually holds up. Anyone got data on this instead of just gut feelings?
