My old supervisor's torque critique stuck with me for 8 years
Back in 2016 at a shop in Tulsa, my lead told me I was overtorquing head bolts because I was chasing the click instead of feeling the stretch, so I switched to a torque angle method and havent snapped a single fastener since, but am I the only one who thinks digital torque wrenches ruined that instinct for the younger guys?
