Rant: Apprentices who dont check fuel water separators before blaming the pump
Third time this quarter a kid swore the injection pump was toast, but a quick drain on the separator showed 2 cups of water and sludge. Takes 5 minutes to check that before you pull a $2,000 part, so why are we skipping the cheap fix first? Anyone else deal with this or am I the only one stuck playing teacher?
