Last Tuesday I had three breakdowns in a row, all fuel related, and the last one was a semi parked on a hill in Nashville. The first filter came out easy, second one fought me for 20 minutes, and the third one snapped the housing right off the bowl. I spent an hour digging bits of plastic out of the bracket with a pick set while a driver named Carl watched and reminded me my boots were untied. Got it all swapped, primed the system, and sure enough the truck started on the first crank. Has anyone else had a day where the simplest job turned into a full demolition project?
Man, that Tuesday sounds like the universe testing your patience with both hands. The housing snapping off is just cruel, honestly. Carl reminding you about your boots while you're elbow deep in plastic shards is the cherry on top.
