Watching rents spike in Bali made me question our footprint.

Our chase for cheap living is pricing out locals who built these communities.

Man... does that make you think about leaving, or is it more about changing how you live there?

Paul, that line about leaving or changing how you live points to something else. It might be about your own boredom, not the place itself. For example, if you take the same route every day, try a different street or visit a new coffee shop. Shaking up your routine can make the same old spot feel unknown. You could find that leaving isn't needed, you just got too comfortable. I've watched people blame the city when they really just stopped trying new things.

For me @paul_rivera, changing how I lived there totally changed my mind about leaving.

My friend almost moved but found a new hiking trail instead.
