Warning: Everyone says ibuprofen fixes everything after a long day. It doesn't.

Guys pop pills like candy for sore muscles. Think it's just part of the job. I did that for years. Ended up with stomach problems. Doctor said it was from too much meds. Now I use heat pads and stretch. Takes longer but feels better. Your body needs real care, not just painkillers.

Take the pills when you really need them, a smart fix now beats days of lost work. Just don't make it a daily habit and you're fine.

In Silicon Valley, ER visits for stimulant problems have doubled since 2018. Your idea misses how fast your body gets used to even rare pill use. Soon, your own focus feels weak, and you're in a cycle you didn't plan for.

But how rare is rare before you're in the cycle ben698 described?

Seriously though, that slope is way steeper than people realize. I've seen friends notice their tolerance building in weeks, not months. Then you're just trading one deadline for a totally messed up sleep cycle.
