I bought five of those trendy ribbed tank tops from Shein last month, thinking I'd scored. Washed them once and they shrank so much they looked like doll clothes. The tag said 95% polyester, 5% spandex, but it felt like cheap plastic. How did I not notice that before I clicked 'buy'? Anyone else have a haul turn into a total washout?

Saw a whole article about how those fabric blends can be really hit or miss. They said the quality control on some fast fashion is basically non-existent. Makes sense why @patel.christopher sticks to cotton, that stuff is way more predictable. Now I just avoid anything that feels weirdly slick right out of the package.
