Hit 10k followers on my cat's TikTok in 2021, and last week I finally checked the account again
So back in 2021 my cat Miso blew up on TikTok. One video of her knocking a mug off my desk got 2.3 million views and I woke up to 10,000 followers in like 3 days. I thought I was about to be a full time cat manager or something. For about 4 months I posted every single day, bought a ring light, even got a few promo offers from pet brands. Then the views tanked, like 500 views a video tanked, and I just stopped posting because it felt pointless. Last week I logged back in for the first time in almost 2 years and the account still has 11.4k followers but my last video has 89 views. The weird part is people still comment on the old viral video every week asking for Miso updates. I actually feel bad about it now. Has anyone else just abandoned an account that used to be popping and never went back?
