That week my sourdough video hit 2 million views and now I can't even give the starter away
Back in March 2021 one of my sourdough videos blew up to 2.4 million views overnight, and for about six days my phone would not stop buzzing with brand offers and interview requests. I quit my part time job at the bakery in Boise because three sponsors told me they wanted a year long deal, then every single one of them ghosted me by April. Now I post the same bread pics and get like 40 likes from my mom and two guys who run baking accounts. The wild part is I still have 90k followers, they just never show up anymore, and the algorithm treats me like a rerun. Did your numbers ever come back after a spike like that, or is it just over for good once the wave passes?

Used to think that spike was the start, but 90k dead followers means it was just a fluke.
