Went to a seminar in Chicago about going viral, and the main speaker admitted his own fame died in 6 weeks
Honestly I paid $150 for a ticket to this thing last month expecting some big secret. The guy had one clip hit 4 million views back in 2021 and that was it. He pulled up his own chart on the screen showing his followers dropped by like 80 percent in 2 months after his peak. The rest of the room went quiet because half of us came there hoping he had the answer. He basically shrugged and said the algorithm moves on and so should you. Now I check a creator's most recent posts before I buy anything they're selling, and most of them are posting to like 200 people. Has anyone else paid for one of these creator workshops and walked out feeling scammed?

For the longest time I figured these workshops were worth it because even a small edge pays for itself. Then my cousin dropped almost $400 on a course from some guy with a viral reel and his page went dead quiet about two months later. Seeing that chart the speaker pulled up on his own screen would've made me feel sick after handing over $150. Checking someone's recent posts before buying is just smart now, since a lot of these folks are out here selling secrets while talking to a few hundred people. My whole view flipped once I saw how fast this stuff fades for almost everyone, even the ones teaching it.
