Hot take: my cousin's Etsy shop went from 200 sales a year to 12 in 8 months
She sells hand drawn pet portraits and her views tanked right as AI portrait listings flooded the first three pages of her main search term, so I'm curious if other handmade sellers here have watched their traffic drop like that and what you did about it.

views tanked right as AI portrait listings flooded" is kinda backwards, her views probably tanked cause her listings got buried, not cause of views themselves dropping. Etsy's search pushes whatever sells fastest and AI shops pump out listings way quicker than someone drawing by hand.
