Warning: My friend's design portfolio got scraped for AI training without consent

That's just shady and shows why we need better rules for this stuff, lmao.

Right, like I'm out here watermarking my stick figure doodles like they're the next big thing. Guess @oliver_stone15 is right, we're all just trying to hide our "good" stuff now.

Yeah that's seriously messed up. It's straight up theft, taking someone's creative work like that to feed a machine. Happens way too often now and there's barely any real consequences for the companies doing it. Makes you want to just not put your best stuff online anymore, which sucks. We absolutely need laws that force them to get consent and pay people. It's their job, not free training data.

Ever notice how this is just the digital version of big companies always taking from small creators? @thomas815 is right, it makes you not want to share your good stuff. Feels like the same old story every time new tech shows up.

Ugh, that's so frustrating and happens way too often! After my own stuff got scraped, I only share low-res samples or watermarked images now, which @oliver_stone15 has a point about hiding your best work. It's a lame extra step but it helps a bit.
