My AI art tool kept adding extra fingers, fixed it with a weird prompt trick
Last Tuesday I was rendering a portrait in Midjourney for a client and the hands came out with six fingers on the left side, three times in a row. I finally added 'anatomy reference, hands relaxed by sides' to the prompt and it nailed it on the first try, has anyone else had to use weirdly specific phrases to break AI's finger problem?

Yeah I've hit that exact wall with hands way too many times. "relaxed by sides" is a good one, I also toss in "natural hand pose" or sometimes just straight up "five fingers" if it's being extra stubborn. It's wild how one tiny phrase flips the whole thing.
