Trained a small image model on 800 of my grandma's recipe cards and it hit 91% accuracy on her handwriting

I scanned every card she left me, even the ones stained with butter, and fine tuned a tiny model on them last week at my kitchen table in Boise. It read her cursive better than I can, which felt weird. Anyone else try this with a family member's handwriting, and did it hold up on the messy ones?
