inMy apartment building's meal prep Sundays are catching on
Sounds like a cool way to build community, but mixed food smells can be too much after a while. I heard on a podcast that cooking smells sticking around is a big issue in packed buildings, just like @terrywhite said about the burnt chicken. But hey, isn't it better than stressing over meals every morning?

inOur neighborhood's chalk art festival got huge online, now it's just faded streaks on the pavement.
It leaves them with a souvenir shop nobody asked for, that's the long-term plan.

inTIL building a desk ain't as easy as the news says
Look at it this way, every project has its rough spots. Yes, it's frustrating when guides leave stuff out, but you learn by doing. Calling it a huge waste feels like missing the point.

inI keep hearing that film camera repairs are dying, but my shop is busier than ever with them.
My local camera repair guy said he's booked three months out with Contax T2 and point-and-shoot repairs for people in their twenties. What's driving that shift? Are the older repair techs not passing down the knowledge, or is it just a totally different type of gear needing fixes?

inMy client's friend swore she saw a celebrity couple fighting, but the details were all wrong.
Consider how messed up our sense of reality gets from all the edited clips and AI videos online. That friend might have watched a deepfake or a scene from a parody account and her brain filed it as a real memory. @ben155 is spot on about the dates, but sometimes the mix-up starts way before the calendar check. I read about regular people being convinced they met someone famous because of a convincing TikTok filter. So her story could be a sign of how hard it is to trust your own eyes now, not just wanting gossip to be true.
