Update: A friend said my AI voiceovers sounded too robotic

He told me the pacing was off and it felt like a machine reading a script. I started adding more pauses and changing the tone settings in ElevenLabs, and it made a huge difference. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you change how you use a text-to-speech tool?

My first AI voice read like a bored GPS giving directions to my own funeral. I had to add so many awkward pauses it sounded like the program was buffering. Now it just sounds like a slightly confused human, which is a big step up.
