Chose the $40 basket over the $90 one at Target, and now I'm making fries twice a week
Back when I got my air fryer in 2021 I stood in the Target on Elston in Chicago for like 20 minutes trying to pick between a cheap wire basket and a fancy one with a paddle. Went with the $40 basic one since I figured I'd use it maybe once a month. Three years later it's still going and I do frozen fries and chicken thighs in it almost every other night. Anyone else buy the cheap add-on and end up using it more than the actual machine?
I did the exact same thing at the Best Buy on Michigan Ave back in 2020. Stood there for half an hour between a $60 one and a $150 one with all the digital buttons. Grabbed the cheap one thinking it would just sit in the cabinet. That thing has run almost every single day since, mostly for chicken nuggets for my kid and roasted veggies. My actual oven is now just a place where I store cookie sheets. The fancy one probably does the same job but I saved a hundred bucks and it still works fine.
