TIL my air fryer can't handle wet batter...

I tried making onion rings and the batter dripped everywhere, causing smoke. Check your recipes for dry coatings instead.

Notice this pattern a lot with kitchen gadgets. They get sold as magic tools but have specific rules no one tells you. Your onion ring disaster is just another case of that.
