From the tarmac, the new engine mount torque specs seem off

Most mechanics follow them, but I've seen cracks appear faster. My experience shows the previous limits were more reliable.

Wait, they're cracking at the new specs? Where exactly are you seeing the cracks form? I had one let go at the forward bolt hole last month and just chalked it up to a bad part.

My buddy found hairline fractures spreading from the rear bracket... said it looked just like yours.

Honestly, I was all for the new specs at first. But after hearing from @jades11 and seeing similar cracks, I'm convinced they're wrong. Time to go back to the old torque limits.
