I watched that actor's apology video frame by frame and caught him reading off a teleprompter the whole time.

I was analyzing his apology for the charity scandal, and I noticed his eyes kept shifting to the same spot just above the camera for the full 7 minutes, so how can it be sincere if he's not even looking at us?

Cleaned out my truck and counted my old coax connectors

I had a box of old F-connectors from my first few years on the job, back when everything was analog. I finally sorted them and counted over 800. That's just the ones I kept, not the thousands I must have thrown away. It hit me that I haven't used a standard crimp-on connector on a new install in maybe five years. Everything's compression fittings or pre-terminated lines now. Makes you think about how much the little stuff has changed. Anyone else find a weird stash of old parts that dates your time in the field?

My brisket stalled for 8 hours and I almost gave up

I was smoking a 16-pounder in my offset last Saturday and it hit 160 degrees by noon, then just sat there until 8pm. My buddy in Austin texted 'just wrap it in butcher paper and trust the process' so I did, and it finally pushed through. Anyone else have a stall that just wouldn't quit?

I was sure the 'Mandela Effect' was just bad memory until I found my old VHS tape of the Berenstain Bears spelled with an 'E'.

The tape case clearly says 'Berenstein' in my childhood handwriting, but the title screen on the actual tape shows 'Berenstain', which has me wondering if anyone else has found physical proof that contradicts their strongest memories.

Had to choose between a new torque wrench or fixing my old one last month

My old 3/8 drive click wrench from Snap-on was giving me inconsistent readings on a Cessna 172 wheel bearing job. I could either send it out for a $150 calibration or buy a new digital one for almost $500. I went with the calibration because I know its history and it came back certified. Has anyone else had a similar choice with their main tools?

I chose to focus on AutoCAD, and honestly, I'm glad I did, but I still keep my old drafting table for sketching ideas. Anyone else feel like they lost a bit of the craft when they switched to full digital?
