My neighbor told me to talk to my tomato plants every morning, and they actually grew bigger.

She said it was about the carbon dioxide from my breath, not the words. I tried it for two months on just one plant, and it had way more fruit than the others. Has anyone else tested something like this?

Oh man, you gotta label that plant! I learned that the hard way. I used a little bit of bright colored yarn tied to the stem, just a loose loop. Tape can fall off or get gross with water. That way you know for sure which one you're talking to, and you don't accidentally give the control plant a boost.

Did you use a specific plant as your test subject? I always mark the pot with tape so I don't mix them up.
