Saw 3 jobs this week with sensors mounted upside down

Walked into a house in Phoenix and noticed the door sensor was angled so the magnet gap was way off. The homeowner said their dog kept setting it off at night. Took me 20 minutes to fix, but I checked two other jobs after that and found the same mistake. Is there some new tool or video telling people to mount them that way? I've been doing this for 12 years and never seen it this common.
