TIL the installer at a bank job in Reno hid his panel behind a fake return air grille, and I think that's just asking for trouble
I was doing a walkthrough on a remodel there and popped the grille off out of habit, and sure enough, keypad and board sitting right there with no lock on it. Everyone online says hiding panels beats a locked closet, but a hidden panel nobody can service at 2am is worse than an ugly one in plain sight. What's your go to when the customer won't give up any wall space?
