A 3 word comment on my reel made me rethink my whole hashtag setup

Last Tuesday I posted a cooking clip that flopped hard, like 40 views in 2 hours. Someone in a creator group said my hashtags were just noise, so I dropped down to 5 targeted ones like #airfryerrecipes instead of the usual 30. Next video hit 2,000 views in a night because the algo finally knew who to push it to. Anyone else trim their tags down and see a weird jump like that?
