I ran two identical posts on TikTok, one with trending audio and one without, and the audio one got 10x the views in 24 hours.

The algorithm clearly pushes content that uses its current favorite sounds, so now I always check the 'For You' page for audio trends before posting anything.

Wait wait wait, three views? For real? I would have been so mad if I spent time picking out the perfect trending audio and my video just flopped like that. Honestly the whole system feels rigged sometimes. You can do everything right and still get nothing.
