My brother told me to post my video at 3 PM on a Tuesday for more views
He swore the algorithm favors that time, so I tried it with a short clip about fixing a squeaky door. It got maybe 50 views in six hours, which was worse than my usual posts. I checked the analytics later and saw most of my followers are online after 7 PM. So his general tip was wrong for my specific audience. Has anyone else found their best posting time is totally different from the standard advice?

Lol my own analytics once showed my peak time was 2 AM, guess I'm a niche insomniac whisperer.

Forget the general advice, your own analytics are the only thing that matters. I'm shocked he gave you such a specific time without knowing your channel. My best time is late at night when my audience is winding down.
