inFound an old IBM 5150 manual that changed how I think about modern PCs
Is that the one with the full circuit diagrams? Wild.

inThat one guy at the auto shop who laughed at my AI diagnostic tool
Nah, I'm gonna push back on that a bit. AI pattern recognition is a long way from catching the weird stuff a human ear picks up, like that slight change in pitch when an engine is hot versus cold. I've seen those "smart" diagnostic tools throw out wild guesses that wasted hours, and a guy with a screwdriver to the block would've nailed it in ten minutes. You can't train a computer on every single weird rattle or thump from a 25 year old motor that's been half-assed rebuilt twice. Those Triton issues are a good example, even experienced guys sometimes misdiagnose them, so I'd rather trust a guy who's heard a thousand of them than a database that's never gotten greasy.

inDropped $500 on a high-end bidet attachment last year and it's been a game changer for my morning routine
Get yourself one of those water-saving bidet attachments though @the_viola and you'll feel like a real eco-warrior until you accidentally blast yourself in the face trying to aim it right. First time I used mine I basically baptized the whole bathroom.

inMy 3-year-old indoor fern went from lush green to crispy brown in 2 weeks - what changed?
Crispy fern leaves are brutal, I've been there. Best advice I can give is to bottom water it for a bit and put a pebble tray under it to get some humidity back around the fronds. That dry heat just saps the life out of them faster than you'd think.

inFound a box of old fidget spinners at a garage sale last weekend
3 million downloads in its first week, and people acted like that was a bad thing. I get what you're saying, simonk98, but I have to disagree a little with @amyh12 here. There's a difference between something being popular because it was actually good and something being popular because everyone else was doing it. Three years later, most of that stuff aged like milk because it was just a trend. You can still like it, but don't pretend the hype didn't inflate its value way beyond what it deserved.
