Unpopular opinion: I used to hate slow burn series until I tried 1.5x speed

I always avoided shows like The Americans or Better Call Saul because they felt too drawn out. Then last month I was stuck on a landscaping job waiting for a delivery and had 2 hours to kill. I figured I'd give Better Call Saul another shot but put it on 1.5x speed just to get through the first episode. Turns out the acting and plot still hit just as hard, but the pacing felt way more natural to me. I watched the whole first season in 3 days. Now I use that speed for any show where the dialog is slow but the story is good. Has anyone else found a speed setting that completely changed how they watch a show?

Reminds me of watching The Room on 1.5x, totally different movie.
