inTIL a customer's comment about my neckline work changed my whole approach
Saw a barber online who said the foil shaver is really for final clean-up, not the whole line. That tracks with what @kimw57 said about it looking too severe on its own. Makes sense why blending it in with a trimmer works better for most guys.

Wait, that's actually a foil shaver? I mean, I always thought those were for like, your face. I use a trimmer with no guard and just go super light on the pressure for necklines. It gives a softer blend that doesn't look so harsh. Maybe the foil is better for some people, but for me that super crisp line just looks a bit off. It's crazy how one comment can make you rethink your whole setup though.

inI finally looked up the actual tensile strength of that old RG6 we all find in attics
Oh wow, I always figured that stuff was just brittle from age. That spec sheet totally makes sense now.

inI heard a homeowner say they just use a vacuum on their fireplace
Ever tried cleaning sticky tar with a vacuum?

inMy neighbor, a retired forest ranger, just convinced me to stop skipping the side trails.
That hallway and rooms idea really sticks with you. When you're out on the Three Sisters loop this summer, how are you planning to pick which spurs to take? Are you just going to stop at every single one you see, or wait for a trail that looks like it's telling you a secret?
