Spent 4 hours rewatching ep 7 because I clicked the wrong folder

I mean this is embarrassing but last weekend I thought I had the wrong episode downloaded for this new mecha show, so I kept pausing and comparing scenes with the wiki. Turns out I was watching a fan edit from some reddit thread that added 3 extra minutes of deleted scenes. I wasted a whole afternoon and the actual episode was sitting in a subfolder named “new”. Has anyone else spent way too long trusting a random upload instead of just checking the file name first?
