Spent 5 hours limbing a red oak near Portland and the whole job clicked for me
Last Tuesday we had a red oak with two co-dominant stems leaning over a garage in Portland, and I finally quit fighting the hinge and just let the notch do the work on every cut. Six hours of limbing later my back felt better than it did after a 3 hour job the week before, because I stopped horsing the saw. Anyone else find their whole week changes once they trust the basics on one tree?
