A guy in Decatur told me my bait placement was wrong and it cost me 3 months of re-treating
So I've been doing pest work around metro Atlanta for a while now, and I always put bait stations right up against the foundation wall. Figured that was the right move since everyone does it. Then about 4 months back a property manager in Decatur called me back out because roaches kept showing up in the same unit. He watched me work and straight up said 'You're feeding the ones outside, not the ones inside. Put them along the inside corner where the wall meets the floor.' I argued with him for a bit, then tried it his way in two units just to prove him wrong. Three weeks later both units were clean and stayed clean. Turns out roaches run the baseboards inside way more than the exterior edge, and I was basically setting up a buffet on the wrong side of the wall. Now I do interior corner placements first and only hit the outside as a backup. Anyone else get called out by a client on something basic like this?
