Rant: the exterminator who said 'just spray more' cost me $400

Had a guy come out to my place off Moreland Ave after I spotted roaches in the kitchen, and he barely looked around before saying we just needed to spray more and be done. Two weeks later they were back worse, so I paid $400 for a real pro who actually found the leaky pipe behind the dishwasher they were living off. Anyone else get burned by a quick spray-and-run job, or is that just how it goes in Atlanta?
