A painter at a swap meet in Fontana saw my blend and said one sentence that made me quit rattle canning jambs
I was at a parts swap in Fontana and a painter I buy epoxy from watched me spray a door jamb with a rattle can, then said the color always dies 5 shades off by the time it hits the rocker. That bugged me for 2 weeks, so I finally pulled the trigger on a small detail gun and a $180 3M PPS setup. First car I did with it was a silver Corolla and the jambs matched dead on, no tape line halo when the sun hit it. I always figured a gun was overkill for small parts, so what's your go to for jambs, do you mix a little extra base or just shoot the full panel?
