Customer told me his car looked the same after my repair, still fuming about it

So I had a guy pick up his 2018 Civic last Tuesday after I fixed a nasty dent on the rear quarter panel and resprayed the bumper. He walks around it twice, squints, and says "looks the same as when I dropped it off." I asked him to point out what he meant, and he just shrugged and said he expected it to look "newer." I spent about 6 hours on that panel, blended the paint, and matched the factory finish down to the texture. He paid the $840 without another word but left me a 3 star review saying I "didn't do much." Has anyone else had a customer complain the repair was too good because they wanted to see obvious damage gone? I swear some folks need to see a before and after photo taped to the door or they think you sat around all day.
