Hit 100 custom paint jobs last month and it messed with my head

I finished my 100th custom paint job last month on a 67 Mustang for a guy in Phoenix and it hit me harder than I expected. Counting them out made me realize how many hours I've put into just sanding and buffing alone. Has anyone else hit a random milestone that made them stop and think about the grind?

That 67 Mustang must have been a sweet one for a hundredth job. Did you find yourself taking pictures of it differently or paying more attention to the final buff knowing it was number 100? I feel like milestones like that can make you hypercritical of the little things. Like did you catch yourself re-sanding a spot you normally would have let slide?

Did I catch myself re-sanding spots? Heck yeah. I think I polished that thing so much I almost buffed the paint right off. Had to remind myself it wasn't going in a museum, just some guy's garage.
