Finally got my gear oil change down to 25 minutes on the garage floor

Saturday was the first time I changed the diff fluid on my 04 Tacoma at home without spilling half of it on the driveway. I got the fill plug loose first, used a $9 hand pump from Harbor Freight, and actually got the old gasket off clean with a razor blade. Took me three tries over the past month to get it right, and my neighbor Dale even came over to check the level. Any of you got a trick for keeping the pump hose from popping off mid squeeze?
