Picked a $40 air chuck over the $90 one at the register, and my wrists noticed by Friday
Stood at the counter at my local parts shop in Boise holding two chucks for my impact wrench, the cheap brass one and the fancy name brand, and grabbed the cheap one. Three tire rotations later my hands are still fine and the thing locks on tight every single time. A guy at the bay next to me said he went through two of the pricey ones in a year, which made me feel pretty good about my $40. I get that a tool is an investment, but half these prices are just for the sticker on the box. Anybody else running cheap air fittings and getting real mileage out of them, or am I about to eat my words?
