I switched shipping brokers 3 weeks ago and my pickup window went from 6 days to 36 hours
Used the same broker for 14 months on my runs between Phoenix and Denver. Every single time it took 5 or 6 days just to get a driver assigned. Switched to a smaller outfit out of Kansas City after a buddy kept bugging me about it. First load booked in 9 hours, second one 36. Same route, same price range, nothing else changed but the broker. Has anyone else seen that big a gap, or did I just get lucky with timing?
