I was ready to write off cheap brokers until a dispatcher in Ohio asked me one question
I'd been quoted $1,150 to move my truck from Cleveland to Tucson and was about to pay it when the dispatcher asked if I'd checked whether the pickup window included weekends, which the cheap quote didn't, so I went with the $1,340 one that did and the truck actually showed up on time, and now I want to know how many of you ask about weekend windows before booking.

Two years back I would've told you the hidden weekend thing was overblown. Then I got hit with it on a rental in Austin and lost about $180. Now I check the pickup and drop off hours before I book anything.
