Just realized paying $20 for a broker to compare car shipping quotes saved me $300
I needed to move my Honda from Phoenix to Denver last week and almost paid the first company $950 because I was in a rush. A buddy told me to try a free quote site that compares multiple brokers, so I did and got a $650 offer from a smaller carrier. I was sure the cheap one would be a mess, but the car showed up a day early with no scratches. Now I'm wondering if I got lucky or if the big names just count on people not shopping around. Has anyone else had a low quote go perfect, or did it bite you later?
