Picked between an open carrier and enclosed for my WRX from Phoenix to Seattle, and the $400 gap made the call for me
Had two quotes sitting in my inbox for a week, open transport at $850 and enclosed at $1,250, and I kept going back and forth. I went with open because the car is a daily driver with 90k miles and a few rock chips already, so a little road dust was not worth 400 bucks. It got picked up 3 days after I booked and landed in Seattle in 6 days with just some bug splatter on the front bumper. The driver actually texted me a photo at a rest stop in Redding so I could see it was fine. Anyone else skipped enclosed and regretted it, or was open fine for you too?
