Old wire diagrams beat the new digital ones, change my mind

I spent 10 years chasing faults with laptop schematics, then last month I dug out a 1982 paper diagram for a 737 pitot static issue. It showed the routing and ground points in one page that took me three screens to piece together digitally. Anyone else feel like the PDFs lost the big picture somewhere along the way?
