Showerthought: A single bent pin on a connector cost me a whole weekend

I chased a fuel quantity fault on a King Air for 11 hours across two days and it turned out to be one bent pin in a cannon plug behind the panel. I kept jumping to the gauge and the wiring when the whole thing was a two minute fix once I saw it. Anyone else got a story where the tiny stuff ate your whole weekend?
