The retired C-130 at the Amarillo museum had a whole wiring harness held up by one zip tie
I stopped by the air museum in Amarillo last Saturday since my sister lives out there, and they let you walk right up under an old C-130 on static display. I peeked into the wheel well and there's a loom of maybe 30 wires all bundled with one single zip tie, sagging about 3 inches, and honestly it made me feel way better about my own work. The docent caught me staring and said "son, she flew for 40 years like that." Is that real on old birds or did some volunteer slap that on during restoration? I need to know if I've been overthinking every clamp I've ever touched.
