A baker in Fresno paid my invoice in $2 bills, and I now have 43 of them
I do small business bookkeeping for a handful of clients, and one of them runs a sourdough bakery in Fresno. Last week she handed me an envelope for a $860 invoice, and every single bill was a $2 bill she gets from her bank on purpose. I sat in my truck counting them and laughing because I had never seen more than one at a time in my whole life. My own bank teller looked at me like I was running a scam when I tried to deposit 430 of them. Has anyone else had a client pay in a way that made the deposit part a whole extra job?
