A guy on the Superior Hiking Trail told me my pack was riding wrong, and he was right
Two days into a 40 mile stretch near Tettegouche State Park, this older hiker named Dale stopped me on the trail and said my hip belt was sitting too high, which is why my shoulders were killing me. I moved it down two inches that night at camp and the next day felt like a completely different hike. Has anyone else had a stranger on trail fix something you had wrong the whole time? Curious what adjustments people missed for way too long.
