So is a 30 mile day actually impressive or just a bad habit?
I read that the average Appalachian Trail thru-hiker covers about 16 miles a day, and now I'm stuck between thinking my 28 mile push in the Smokies last month was either a solid effort or just me rushing past all the good views, so which side are you on?
